We were approached to attend a casting in May 2019 for an international communications brand that were open to a same sex family being featured in an online commercial for technology, an as we're a tech mad household, it felt right to put our hat in the ring. We were delighted with the result.
The article would be promoted by Huff Post and would be seen by a reported 10 million people. The story was filmed at our home in Hagley in Worcestershire and a rough story was given, which told the authentic story of our Surrogacy pregnancy (a UK first to feature a Surrogacy theme in its advert, let alone a same sex couple too). The advert also included Katie as she gave the embarrassing account of how we have an app to track her every move, just to keep her safe - obviously.
